# Setting User Credentials Asynchronously

**`PUT /api/v1/profiles/push/{username}`**

Sets Hedera credentials for the specified user asynchronously and returns a task identifier for polling the result.

**Authentication:** Bearer token required (`Authorization: Bearer <token>`)

**Permission:** `Permissions.PROFILES_USER_UPDATE`
