# Updates Tool Configuration

**`PUT /api/v1/tools/{id}`**

Updates the configuration for a specific tool by its ID.

**Authentication:** Bearer token required (`Authorization: Bearer <token>`)

**Permission:** `Permissions.TOOLS_TOOL_UPDATE`
